Things I've built, and what I learned.
I'm a product designer working on AI interfaces. Recent MS in HCI/d from Indiana.
Most of my projects have landed in the same place. There's always a version where the system does more, and the research keeps coming back saying people want less of it than we planned. That's the part I've gotten interested in: how much control the user keeps while all of this is being added around them.
That question is getting harder as AI moves from something people try to something they work inside every day. I want to be somewhere I can design against that and keep users' agency intact.
Lately I've also been working on accessibility. I volunteer as a Senior UX Consultant at Heartland Community Network, auditing client websites and writing up accessibility reports.
Working as human-AI researcher at TCS Innovation Labs has been the highlight of my journey.
